Roundhay Web Design Christmas Appeal 2017
Roundhay Web Design are a generous bunch! They donated £200 towards Radio Aire ‘Cash For Kids’ and the ‘Salvation Army’ charities in 2017. This meant as many children in Leeds as possible received at least one gift at Christmas time. £200 went a rather long way, thanks to shopping at a local discount store. All the presents were brand new, good quality and suitable for a wide range of age groups. In fact, two trolleys were filled!
Did you know that as of December 2017, there were more than 25,000 children in Leeds ALONE that may have not have received a Christmas present, how sad is that?! If each of us kind hearted people in Leeds managed to buy and donate just one present, think of the difference that would make! It would be amazing, playing Santa to our less fortunate neighbours. No matter how big or small, each and every contribution was greatly appreciated. Imagine the kids face when they wake up to a present on Christmas Day when they wouldn’t usually get that luxury? Well I say luxury, it’s the norm for most kids to receive a prezzie from Santa isn’t it?
From teddys to toy cars, chocolate to chess, the latest toys and colouring books – Roundhay had it all covered! There were toiletry sets donated for older children, along with over 30 selection boxes. Santa Clause finally visited the less fortunate. All thanks to the likes of Cash For Kids, The Salvation Army and of course the kind people that donate to these worthy causes.
With Roundhay Web Design’s Christmas 2018 Appeal just about to launch, you’ll find many ways to get involved! Take a look at this blog post which explains all you need to know for this year’s appeal.
